About Us

After being laid off from a job and career I worked so hard for and had spent nearly 20 years to achieve, I was in a horrible place of depression, anxiety, fear, and incredible brokenness. Being in this situation, you feel so lost. You look around and everything you thought you built has been thrown out in an instant. When you have a family that depends on you and you are suddenly discarded like you don’t matter it makes you feel worthless. And then couple that with not being able to find a new job, family members getting very sick, and when everything else around you seems to be falling apart, it gets very hard to even get out of bed let alone try to thrive.

This business and these shirts are a way for us to share Nicole and I’s testimonies. We needed a way to force ourselves to look into the Word and find verses that specifically spoke truth and wisdom to our current situation even when all we had was the pain and uncertainty surrounding around us.

That’s where The Printed Word Creative came from. We needed a way to express our pain and speak words of truth over our situations even if we did not feel it or see it. We wanted a way to build others up through our testimony even while we are still struggling. And then provide a way to speak truth and wisdom in other’s lives to hopefully help others know they are not alone.

The Printed Word Creative is more than just a design and custom t-shirt shop. We truly want to help the community close to us through positive messages and to provide a service that helps find solutions to any design need. We then take a portion of all of our profits and give back to local charities that help build up and take care of children.

So we pray that God lifts you up and gives you the strength to do what He has called you to do today. Know you’re not alone in anything that you might have going on and that God loves you!
